AUTENTIKA - wedding flower's decoration
THE CREATIVITY OF CHAOS

Every wedding has a different energy. It can be calm and gentle, full of laughter and spontaneity. And somewhere in between are Aneta, Tereza, and Bára — three women connected by a love for detail, genuine emotions, and moments that matter. Their project, Autentika, is about letting things flow naturally — and finding beauty even in the smallest details.

And also about coffee. Because it wouldn’t work for them without it. That’s why we had a coffee date with these event aces. Our conversation sometimes resembled speed dating, and other times a slow rendezvous that you go on when you want to truly savor the present moment.

How would you describe Autentika in three words?

Authenticity, detail, and emotion. Everything we do revolves around genu- ineness. And if we were to be a little more honest — coffee, chaos, and beauty. Because we wouldn’t function without coffee, we feel at home in chaos, and something beautiful always emerges from it in the end.

What do you enjoy most about creating weddings?

The emotions. The moment when everything connects — the music, the lights, the people, the atmosphere — and you know that something exceptional is happening right now. And also the journey to that day. Watching couples become friends, and ideas become a reality that makes sense.

How would you describe Autentika’s style?

It’s naturalness, lightness, and humanity. We don’t like pretense or extravagance — we look for beauty in simplicity and in the feelings that remain. Each of our events is different, but they all have something in common — a soul. We like it when everything is beautiful, but above all, genuine. When things happen spontaneously, not because they “should.”

What makes a wedding truly authentic?

People. You can have perfect decorations and a flawless schedule, but the most important thing happens between the people. An authentic wedding is about moments when you laugh, hug, dance barefoot, cry with emotion. You can’t fake this. The reactions in that moment are simply yours.

What does your process look like — from the first coffee to the big day?

It starts with talking. Coffee, laughter, vision. Then come the proposals, fine-tuning, planning, rehearsals, coordination... and finally, the big day, when we just watch everything come to life. Every step has its meaning — the chaos, and the Excel spreadsheets that we absolutely hate. (laughter)

How do you balance creativity and organization?

One part of us loves beauty and colors, the other loves planning and peace of mind. Together it works great — one comes up with ideas, another watches the clock, and the third fine-tunes the details. Each brings something different, and that’s how balance is created.

Where do you look for inspiration?

In people, in nature, in travel, in good food. But often even in ordinary days. Inspiration comes when you are not looking for it — perhaps over a good cup of coffee.

Working with you is supposedly not just about organization, but about a relationship. How does that develop?

Basically, it happens naturally. At the beginning, we might just be “coordinators” for the couples, but over time, we become allies, often even friends.
We share a lot of emotions with them — joy, tension, and those small nervous moments right before the ceremony. We believe that when trust works be- tween us, everything else unfolds as it should. And we are immensely grateful for the kind of souls we attract. Thanks to them, our work turns into a mission
— into something that fulfills us so much that it’s no longer just a job.

What moments move you the most during weddings?

The quiet ones. When the bride takes a deep breath just before the ceremo- ny. When the parents hug. When the band plays the last song and only joy remains on the dance floor. These are moments you cannot predict beforehand — they just happen. And that is their magic.

What advice would you give to couples who want a wedding that is truly their own?

Don’t be afraid to be yourselves. You don‘t have to have everything that “should be.” Do it your way so you feel good about it. Your day should be about you — not about the expectations of others.

What do you think is not worth saving money on — and where can a couple save money thoughtfully?

We would not save on the atmosphere — the people, the music, and good food. That creates the emotion and energy of the day. Decorations and styl- ing can be simplified when everything has its purpose and style.

What is the first step a couple should take when they start planning a wedding?

Sit down together. Without Pinterest, without spreadsheets. Talk about what kind of day they actually want to experience. When they are clear on the feeling they want, everything else can easily be built around it.

What has this job taught you?

That perfection doesn’t exist. But beauty does. And that the most beautiful moments arise precisely when things happen a little differently than we planned.
