MYAU is a Czech fashion brand founded in 2019 by designer Assel Janischová, originally from Kazakhstan. The main mission of the brand is to create bespoke, high-quality, and sustainable designs. The MYAU team prides itself on a personal and thorough approach, allowing them to craft clothing even for the most demanding customers.

“Throughout my life, I have met various women with very diverse clothing needs. My clients are lawyers, doctors, entrepreneurs, homemakers, mothers — they are passionate about their work and make the world a better place every single day. And I help them feel comfortable,” explains Assel about her design philosophy. In addition to emphasizing comfort, another key principle is the effort to ensure the utmost level of sustainability. Every piece is tailored in the MYAU atelier, reducing waste to a minimum. The cuts are so ingeniously designed that they can be easily adjusted, allowing the dresses to be worn even if their owners’ figures change or should they desire a slight shift in style.

Bringing love poetry to life in the form of dresses — this bold ambition was the challenge Assel embraced when creating the FESTIVE wedding dress collection. The result? Stunning, ethereal designs with a powerful emotional charge. Assel’s inspiration came from centuries of love poetry — from the fiery verses of the Renaissance and Romanticism to the empowering works of 19th-century poetesses, and even to contemporary lyrics celebrating partnership.
