HANUŠ LAMR´S BLOOM COLLECTION THROUGH THE LENS OF AŇA JAKŠ

JEWELRY AS A LIVING STILL LIFE

The photographs of Aňa Jakš capture the jewelry of Hanuš Lamr in a way that far exceeds conventional product photography. Aňa composed still-life arrangements from objects of Hanuš’s everyday life — beetles from the atelier wall, leaves from a giant fig tree, living plants — and allowed them to merge with his Bloom collection.

The collection was born from the careful gathering of natural fragments — cherry pits, hibiscus flowers, small branches — which are cast in silver and complemented by
colorful semi-precious stones, such as milky blue chalcedony. The result is jewelry that is not merely an ornament, but also an autonomous object — a small sculpture carrying the very essence of nature.
