DINA & AUSTIN
Best friends to lovers — that is the perfect description of Dina and Austin’s relation- ship. They met on the very first day of university and immediately
became inseparable friends. They supported each other,
sharing every tough and beautiful moment, all while both secretly suspected there was something deeper
between them. It took ten years for them to finally realize that they couldn’t live without each other,
and that their friendship was, in fact, love in disguise.
As a couple, they went through life together for another four years, after which Austin proposed to Dina in a seaside town not far from Barcelona.
He prepared everything perfectly — a romantic sunset picnic complete with their favorite delicacies and champagne. For both, it was an intimate and absolutely perfect experience they will remember for the rest of their lives. They didn’t yet know what a magnificent wedding awaited them.
The couple had a very clear vision for the style of their wedding.
They wanted something natural and slightly unconventional. They chose shades
of orange and red for their color palette, grouped the tables
into an unusual shape, and the extravagant outfits
of the guests were more than welcome.
Dina herself looked like a fairy from a fairytale, and Austin resembled a movie star. Both yearned for a wedding filled
with warmth, light, and magic, so they planned the ceremony
for the Summer Solstice. The location, a hotel with a captivating garden on the Costa Brava in Spain, quite literally spoke for itself,
interwoven with history and creativity. The ceremony was scheduled for the late afternoon, as the high summer temperatures would not
have been favorable for a midday wedding. The entire evening flowed naturally, from a romantic candlelit dinner to a late-night party that lasted until dawn. In place of a classic first dance, they had a Zaffeh, an energetic procession with drums and dancing that got every wedding guest out of their seat.
Both the newlyweds and the guests
agree that the entire wedding was a magnificent celebration that lacked nothing: fun, a touch of culture, delicious food bursting with flavor, and an amazing energy that compelled everyone to celebrate until they dropped.
For their honeymoon destination, Dina and Austin chose Japan, where they plan to travel for three weeks, explore the local culture, and simply enjoy each other. And we wish them all the best!
