KINGA & MATEUSZ
Their professions are all about turning dreams into reality. Kinga works
as an interior designer, and Mateusz is a graphic designer specializing
in visualizations of architectural designs.
So how did they succeed in designing their own dream
wedding? They met one summer night at a beach party in the Polish
coastal town of Hel. It marked the beginning of their ten-year journey together, which led to an unforgettable proposal — not without a bit of drama.
“I’ll never forget that day. We went on a skiing trip,
my very first time skiing. Unfortunately,
I got injured on the slopes, but luckily everything turned out fine. The pain quickly disappeared because later that evening, Mateusz proposed to me. Along with the ring, I now have another memento from that ski trip — a scar on my leg,”
Kinga laughs. The couple had two ceremonies. The first took place a few months before their official wedding, when they traveled to Bali.
There, surrounded by breathtaking nature, they exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony, just the two of them. They later formalized their love back home
in Poland. They didn’t want a grand affair, so they planned everything themselves within a modest seven-month timeframe. Thanks to the energy and enthusiasm
of their loved ones, everything came together seamlessly.
The wedding took place in September, with their “I do” exchanged at noon in the garden of their favorite wedding venue — the restaurant Warsztat. The celebratory atmosphere was heightened by the piece Spring 1 by Max Richter,
inspired by Vivaldi, which played during the ceremony. Every detail was carefully thought out. Photos from their Bali ceremony were projected on a wall, and at the bar, guests could enjoy Pornstar Martini (the bride’s favorite drink),
whiskey with cola (the groom’s choice), and Aperol Spritz (a favorite of both). Guests were also invited to mix their own drinks. As a special surprise,
Kinga and Mateusz provided a large canvas and asked guests to contribute to creating a unique wedding painting. The entire wedding was deeply
personal and reflected not only their love for nature but also the artistic souls of both newlyweds. While Kinga handled the design of the wedding stationery and visual elements, Mateusz created a special animation accessible via a QR code
on the invitations. As a wedding gift, the couple asked
their guests to contribute to their dream of building a house in the Kłodzko Valley, surrounded by mountains. A day full of love, joy, and emotions was concluded by the newlyweds with a grand party, where the bride changed into a suit by MATIN. Afterwards, they went to relax at a wellness hotel for a honeymoon stay, which was a gift from their parents.
