NĚCO MODRÉHO
Capturing the most precious moments full of love and emotions that will never be repeated. This is the goal of photographer Oldrich Hrub, who has been shooting weddings under the brand Něco modrého (Something Blue) for 10 years.
For him, photographing weddings means stopping time in a human story that he can immortalize into a tangible memory. He appreciates people letting him get so close to them so he can record one big milestone in their life story. According to Oldrich, when choosing a wedding photographer, people should look at his work as a whole. A few photos displayed on Instagram are not enough, according to him. "It's best to look at the whole gallery if you can. That's the only way to know if the images make sense together. If they form a story," says Oldřich.
The story, he says, is what differentiates wedding and commercial photography. In commercial photography, it is planned and created by him as the photographer. Whereas in weddings, the real story is created by the people themselves.
