I'm a girl who loves traveling, meeting new people, traditions - and it all came together in my work. For which I am incredibly grateful!  

What's your handwriting?  

I would say documentary with elements of art photography. I enjoy the combination of "being invisible" and "not interfering with the story". I like to be the director of the perfect shot in a couple shoot, I enjoy that. Getting creative in the portrait part of the day.  

Why weddings?   

Because they're incredibly energizing and I can spy on how other people live their lives, their relationships through them. And record these micro-stories of their lives forever.  

We want to know more. What do you shoot with?  

I'm an ambassador for the Fujifilm GFX-50r medium format digital camera. In addition to that, I own an army of other "fujin" to complement the medium format.  

What do you like to shoot?  

Anything to do with ordinary people, ideally those with no photography experience. I love the interaction and the psychological process of discovering in people how I see them. And then they get excited about the photos.  

What season inspires you the most?  

Autumn. When it's still warm, but not too hot. Autumn has a specific smell. And it has beautiful light to shoot in. Neither harsh nor soft.  

Favorite vacation destination? 

Anything by the sea. And the place that never ceases to bore me is Holland. It's my second home.  

Favorite book?  

Irving's The Cider House Rules.  

Favourite film?  

Gran Torino.  

Favorite childhood story?  

Masha and the Bears, my mother had to read it to me all the time.  

Favourite food?  

Anything with sea creatures. Ideally by the sea.  

What do you enjoy? (guilty pleasure)  

Lately, all the American reality shows on Netflix. Total turn-off.
