Víťa, we want to introduce you. Tell us about yourself.
Hi, my name is Víťa, I live in Brno. I recently got married too and enjoyed finally seeing the other side of the wedding. As a photographer I focus mainly on reportage view of weddings, naturalness, simplicity. When I'm not covering weddings, I think my greatest joy is a nice trip or just having a coffee, looking out the window and not worrying about anything.
What's your signature?
I think I try not to have a handwriting. Most of all, I always want the photos to be like the wedding in question. Whether that means more colorful, or more muted, or brighter, or darker, or calmer, or wilder, is often not decided by me, but rather by the location, the weather, and the mood. At the same time, I like to shoot very close up so we can talk while we shoot, and not just for portraits, but for most moments at a wedding. There might be some handwriting in there if someone was looking for it.
Why weddings?
Like most photographers, it started mostly by accident. A few people asked me to shoot a wedding when I used to shoot portraits and events. I refused, they persuaded me. I tried a couple of times for friends and boom. She's the most fun I can imagine! I've been enjoying it more and more for a few years now. Always being around happy people, exploring new places, helping people to plan their weddings and then enjoy them in peace. It gets more interesting as you get more into it. It's not just about the photos anymore.
