The story of "Dvaja" began in high school, where Marek and Natália met. They fell in love—albeit a different form of love at the time—grew up together, and influenced each other until they finally said "I do" themselves. For them, love is a never-ending process—a journey that requires constant effort, inspiration, and motivation. They carry this approach into their photographic work.
They started out shooting with old analogue cameras, which they have recently revisited. Marek's background in architecture and Natália's in design are reflected in their keen sense of line, aesthetics, and beauty, which is also evident in their photographs.
They got into wedding photography by accident—through their siblings' weddings, where they started out with cameras in hand. It was then that they realized documenting these special moments brought them immense joy. Natália confesses she cries at every wedding because she is moved by people's decision to say "I do."
