A WHIMSICAL FAIRY TALE WITH A DASH OF GOTHIC ROMANCE.
A fairytale wedding doesn't have to take place in a castle, but in the centre of Prague! This is where Hannah and Benjamin from Great Britain decided to spend their big day. They fell in love with the Czech capital during their repeated trips and Ben proposed to his sweetheart right in front of St. Vitus Cathedral on Christmas Eve. The energetic couple's sense of romance is certainly not lacking, but they also brought a sense of organisation to the wedding. For practical and logistical reasons, the help of an event agency was needed. The fiancés had a great time with the people at White Agency and have nothing but words of praise for their work. They gushed over both the Colloredo-Mansfeld Palace, where the Protestant ceremony took place under a dizzyingly high painted ceiling, and the Baroque charms of the reception venue, which was the Pálffy Palace. The palatial backdrop combined with the slightly decadent flood of flowers from Prague florist Metamorphosis gave the wedding an unrepeatably romantic charm. And that's not all! "After the ceremony, we surprised our guests with a scenic ride in a historic tram, where an accordion player played and Czech wine flowed! And from the tram we hopped on an hour-long cruise on the Vltava River. We were accompanied by a saxophonist and all around us was beautiful Prague. Letting yourself drift down the river was like a dream," says Hannah. The wedding party flew in from their home country of England for the ceremony, this was also Hannah and Ben's biggest wedding gift.
