We love original jewellery, so we want to introduce you to someone. Talented jewellery designer Anežka Juhová is a recent graduate of the K.O.V. Studio at UMPRUM in Prague. Her diploma work Landscape in Motion was selected among the best graduate works in the prestigious competition The Marzee International Graduate Show. And no wonder! Her talent is undeniable. At this year's Designblok, the designer presented her new collection Eternite.

Anežka draws inspiration for her work freely. From clouds flowing across the sky, raw nature, dreams or memories. "I think of jewellery as something that contains a secret, a memory or a personal meaning that helps us anchor what we want to anchor in a changing environment and time," the designer adds.

According to Anežka, the concept of the collection is based on the human need to constantly connect to or return to something. To look for fixed points that we can hold on to, certainties that are constant and unchanging. All the visible and invisible connections we have made, the memories and dreams we hold on to across the passage of time and changing surroundings.

Eternite is the talented designer's fourth collection. "For the first time, I have moved away from geometry, sharp edges or rough texture, instead leaning towards smooth shiny surfaces," says the jewellery designer. The collection is characterised by a "flowing" morphology, which is meant to symbolise the gradual fluidity of things around us.

"I was inspired by Baroque aesthetics, returning to a style that attracts me for its pomp and ornateness, but also for its clear order and harmony," says Anežka. The collection captures both fixed points and the surrounding, dynamic environment that envelops them over time. The material of the entire collection is sterling silver, gold-plated silver and river pearls. We fell in love at first sight. How about you?
