TRUE LOVE STILL EXISTS.

A land of fire, glaciers and volcanic wastes, hot springs and waterfalls, green pastures and steep mountain peaks. This and much more is Iceland, Europe's second largest island. For Laura and Stu, Iceland became the setting for their wedding, specifically a village with the hard-to-pronounce name of Seyðisfjörður on the east coast. The bride and groom had a clear idea from the engagement that their wedding would be atypical, just as they didn't fit into traditional templates. They live in New York City, and with a little exaggeration, you could say that they and their guests brought the spirit of the big city that never sleeps to the small fishing village of less than seven hundred inhabitants. The ceremony took place in a pastel blue church on the shore of a lake with a rainbow walkway leading to it, and the local community centre was also decorated in rainbow colours, where a very warm and exuberant celebration took place. The bride works in fashion and designed the dress herself, Stu had a tie around his neck from New Mexico, where he is from. Laura also had a clear idea for the photos - her wish was for artsy and cool portraits that would represent her and Stu. For a creative wedding photographer, a client like this is a dream come true, and if she has his full trust, she can play and experiment. The result was not-quite-classic wedding photos that the newlyweds were thrilled with. The weather in Iceland is fickle, and not just in September, so the wedding party experienced overcast skies, wind and a few rain showers. Only the snowflakes were absent that day. However, the sun greeted the newlyweds as they left the church, as if its rays were to confirm the inscription on one of the banners.
