On November 22, 2024, the first MILE Day&Night event took place in Prague's Almanac X Alcron hotel and it was a success beyond expectations! We bring you a little look back at a great day and an unforgettable evening.
The intention of the event was to meet and connect wedding professionals, to find common ground, understanding and mutual inspiration. To experience a perfect day and an unforgettable night. After the euphoric cocktail you mixed with your presence has worn off, we still have satisfied smiles on our lips and are already looking forward to next year's event!
What could you experience at the first edition of MILE Day&Night?
The event kicked off with a morning block of fast-paced and hard-hitting presentations from our guests, wedding professionals from various fields. You could listen to inspirational stories or business f?ck ups and join in discussions where passion was definitely not lacking!
The afternoon programme continued with an interdisciplinary "let's talk" discussion, where everything was definitely said! There was also a final relaxed laugh from everyone in the room and interesting questions from the audience. The wedding coordinators, DJs and photographers buried the hatchet.
The great coffee service was provided by Tereza Karkošová with her famous Kafe venku. The day's catering, which melted on the table and on the tongue, was provided by Petra Grombiříková, known for her brand Petra dělá catering. For more on these ladies, check out the Winter issue MILE 24.
Big Night welcomed more than 150 lovely guests at the round table, which was decorated with their incredible culinary art by the gastronomic group Ze Mě projekt.
The success of networking at this "round table" throughout the evening, was huge.

A spectacular point of the program was the announcement of the MILE AWARDS 2024, the first edition of the competition for professional wedding photographers, curated in five categories by great photographers and professionals,
Ryon, Martin Faltejsek, Tereza Valnerová, Jakub Cabalka (Puf creatif) and Jindřich Štěrba, who with his company Kvalitní fotky partnered and sponsored the event.
In the first edition of MILE AWARDS 447 photos were submitted.
The 15 photos selected for the finals could be seen directly in Almanac X Alcron during the mini-exhibition and the winners of each category were announced directly at the event. The absolute winner of the 2024 edition was František Valiček.
Drinking was provided throughout the day by CANS, and a selection of wines from JustWine and refined signature drinks from Vikeza Gastro added to the relaxed evening atmosphere. Autentika agency helped with the production of the whole event.
The evening was hosted by designer Linda Procházka and singer Marcel Procházka, who also shone vocally.
Then DJ Zima took the floor, who played more for dancing than listening until the end of the event and it was hard to leave the hall at all. Echoes of laughter and beaming faces of our guests are with us to this day.
