BATHED IN SUNLIGHT.

Music fans regularly visit the Colours of Ostrava festival. Petra and Radim met there and it was love that eventually led their steps to the altar of St. Wenceslas Cathedral in Olomouc. The beautiful wedding, literally bathed in sunshine, was of course preceded by thorough preparations. The newlyweds decided that they could manage everything without the assistance of a coordinator, but the help of family and handy friends was all the more useful. And everything went well. The bride looked extremely beautiful in a dress inspired by the lovely Grace Kelly, made by her friend and fashion designer Misha. The clever solution was to separate the skirt and blouse so that Petra can bring them out again in the future in different combinations. The delicate gown was complemented by a stunning long train. The photographs were taken by the bride's friend and photographer Terka, while her friend Martya took care of the flowers (and the list is far from over). We will reveal that the wedding took place in September, which offered a white composition of locally grown flowers. Generally September is a popular month for weddings, the weather is still summery but without the sultry days - and Petra and Radim were lucky to have a sunny day. "Instead of a convoy of cars, we walked from the church to the reception venue through the park, walking as a wedding procession, accompanied by music and a dog. It was one of the best moments of the day," says Petra. The reception was held in the historic Laudon Hall in Olomouc's Fortress of Knowledge. The hall needed only restrained decoration and lighting to conjure a festive yet informal setting. Even with weddings, less can be more. As Petra adds, the guests create the atmosphere anyway.
