SPLASHES OF COLOUR
“Don’t be afraid to splash a bit of colour on your wedding, even in your make-up,” says make-up artist Mirka Krejčí, who only fulfilled her dream of becoming a cosmetician after she turned 30 – and perhaps enjoys her work all the more for it. Our model was made up with clean beauty products from the Swedish brand (M)anasi 7, which is famous for its pots of multi-use cosmetics. Mirka also opted for creamy blushers from Alima Pure, an American brand that offers a delightfully wide range of colours and consistencies, and cream eyeshadows and moisturising blush from RMS Beauty. PURPLE + ORANGE
For this make-up look Mirka chose a very popular combination of purple and orange. “I wouldn’t be afraid to use it on a bolder bride who wants something fresh and colourful but not over the top,” says Mirka. “For the purple eyeliner I chose RMS cream eyeshadow, it’s beautifully meta- llic and lights up every eye. I lightly outlined the lips with (M)anasi 7’s matte lip liner in Macao shade and applied Alima Pure’s cream blusher in Pulse shade in the centre and blended them together,” the make-up artist explains. The result is a beautiful oran- ge-red poppy colour. On the cheeks,she applied (M)anasi 7’s All Over Colourin Sanguinello shade. This lovely coral shade gives you a fresh and relaxed look.
PINK + PURPLE
Pink on the eyes and purple on the lips? This combination is a must-try! “For the eyeshadow, I applied Alima Pure cream blush the colour of forest berries, which brightens the eyes and gives you a fun look,” Mirka Krejčí says. The chosen eyeshadow shade is a perfect match for the moisturising blusher from RMS in French Rosé. It uses Gel2Powder technology, thanks to which it glides smoothly over the skin and creates a long-lasting and multi-dimensional colour. On the lips, two shades of the (M)anasi 7 multi-use cosmetic are combined. “I used the Heliotrope shade tocontour the lips and filled them in with Fuch- sine. Combining these two colours created a beautiful purple shade that is very on-point right now. As a bride you would be absolutely irresistible in it,” Mirka concludes.
