The burgher house "Old Bakery" has stood in the heart of town Znojmo since the 13th century. It is distinguished by a combination of various architecture styles from Gothic to Renaissance, Baroque and Classicism. Especially unique are the preserved vaults, the original furnace and the Gothic log cabin.
A part of the Old Bakery is also the recently opened Illustration and Photography Cabinet, which is filled with design delights and art by contemporary artists. If the charm of the Old Bakery appeals to you, you can even spend your big wedding day here and say yes under the glass vault. The banquet in the lounge can comfortably accommodate up to 35 people. A banquet summer wedding using the outdoor space can accommodate up to 60 guests. There is also a surreal cellar for evening revelry and access to the underground for the fearless. The current owners, Valerie and David Kozelský, took over this cultural monument in 2015 and are gradually transforming it into an authentic guest space. They have created unique accommodation offering several apartments with preserved details. History literally comes alive as this house was once a rental property and dozens of people lived there. After many years of decay, the house is awakening thanks to guests who come to visit and experience its unique genius loci.
Valerie and David have lived in many countries where they have gained inspiration. They were particularly influenced by France, where they discovered the magic of incorporating old shops into new interiors and mastered art de vivre, the art of living and seeing beauty in everyday details. In Taiwan, they were inspired by the authenticity and living beauty of nature and people. Here, they were given the space to connect with themselves and find their own path. It was with these experiences, visions and emotions that the Old Bakery, a house with a unique character, was created.

Behind the tired façade are sensitively restored rooms dominated by tasteful minimalism in white. People should find peace and relaxation here.
