A wedding is often a year in the making, sometimes even longer. It's an infinitely long time compared to how quickly the wedding day itself passes. The newlyweds often don't even have time to notice what's happening around them - getting ready for the ceremony at the appointed time, then hurrying to take wedding photos and already the appetizers are served and the wedding table turns from an arranged splendour into a dining table with everything that goes with it. It is not for nothing that one of the brides in this issue lamented that she wished she had a little more time on her wedding day to just be, to relive the present moment and store it in her memory as an everlasting and loving memory that will retain its vivid colors.
