The Viennese tarmac glistens irresistibly. An umbrella is a certainty, so why not hide under one for two? The bride can either cry in the rain or laugh and try to jump over the puddle. Dominika, like a good girl in adversity, does the latter and she's great at it. Fortunately, the bridal bouquet isn't made of paper. Then the tram starts and the bride and groom walk in front of the imposing Karlskirche, or St. Charles of Bohemia Church, on Charles Square. You can almost hear the wedding march in the air. The newlywed kiss then kicks off the celebration: a toast with Austrian beer and a Viennese sausage from the sales window of the most famous local market, Naschmarkt. The market spreads out like a huge smorgasbord, tastings are allowed and the vendors shout congratulations to the happy couple. Dominika and Jozef are probably not the first to have a wedding for two in central Vienna.
