The first-class restaurant on the premises of a former school welcomed us with open arms and gave us a taste of the abundance for which the lands lining the shores of the Adriatic Sea is so famed for. If you decide to have your wedding in Istria, there is no shortage of great suppliers. We too have created our seaside-themed wedding photostory in collaboration with local specialists. The only things we brought from Prague were Czech glassware from Klimchi, which elevates every festive moment with its timeless design and is simply our “love brand”, and wedding dresses with graceful lines the girls from Sobje sent us.

You could sense that nature was breathing more easily after the sultry summer. The Mediterranean climate on the peninsula is mellowing as autumn nears, but the sun continues to stand tall and proud and make all the colours stand out. Now, down to work. Earthy terracotta tones beg to be offset with powder pink and purple. Rough ceramic cries out for its opposite – smooth glass. Dominant flowers form a harmonious whole with the more delicate ones. As if a magic wand has been waved, the table is set for a festive feast.
