MILE 7

GENTLEMEN'S RIDE

A bachelor party is always a ride. Moreover, when a wedding photographer is about to get married and invites other fellow photographers and videographers from the industry to his celebration, an unusual documentary is created. Four wedding photographers - Honza Bartoň, Martin Faltejsek, Vojta Hurych and Honza Martinec - and the wedding video creators Ondřej and Jakub from DIB production, who often record the wedding festivities of others several times a week, were able to experience for themselves what it is like to be in front of the camera!

I want to buy this

The door of a stylish men's barbershop opens and the main protagonist of the day walks in. He's getting married in two days, so his friends have arranged a bachelor party for him. He's already waved from the bar, everyone toasts him with the famous absinthe to get him started, and then he's in the hands of professional barbers. While part of the party is relaxing under a hot towel and the groom in particular can step off the merry-go-round of preparations for a while, the other half is figuring out what prank to play on him on his wedding day - and with a good gin, there are more than enough ideas. So, during the afternoon, the gentlemen have combined the pleasant with the useful, the groom and best man have a fresh haircut and a trimmed beard to look extra handsome in the photos, everyone is pleasantly relaxed and in good spirits for the next leg of the journey: the wedding gift needs to be fine-tuned - selecting the newlyweds' town bikes.

It's slowly getting dark and it's time for the highlight of the programme: a cocktail lesson with award-winning bartender Jirka Georg Němec. Yes, alcohol belongs with a bachelor party, but why not consume it in a sophisticated way? After all, the goal is not to get drunk, but to enjoy a drink made with quality ingredients and on a high level, which is also helped by the appropriately chosen designer glassware. George not only teaches the boys how to mix a negroni, a rum berry sour and the aptly named oSud punch cocktail, but also educates the crew in cocktail culture in a non-violent way. Pleasant grooming, a witty gift from friends in the form of socks, quality alcohol, sophisticated drinks in elegant glasses, and a classy atmosphere - this is what a stylish stag do can look like, and what bridesmaids can take inspiration from when they're preparing the bridal shower.
