Who are we?

How did it all start?
A crucial moment took place in 2018 when two creative women met in a café. One of them brought an Australian magazine called Together Journal and they fell in love with the idea of creating a similar concept in Europe. Soon, the first edition of Mile was born.

Let's move to the present when the executive and creative activities of the magazine are made up of a mother-and-daughter team.

Ilona (mother) and Natálie (daughter) are the soul and beating heart of the magazine. They are women who never stop creating and dreaming.

In the 5 years of the magazine's existence, we have published more than 22 issues and fulfilled our dream of a European-sized magazine.

Mile believes that there is something magical about the touch of physical paper, which is why the printed magazine will always play a major role for us. Every three months, we print new issues of Mile in English and Czech (on local ecological wood-free offset paper), but we also do not forget about a strong wedding online platform!

We love every minute of creating Mile, every brainstorming, every idea to develop and move this project forward. We also love any criticism, but we prefer kind words about our work.
