The MILE Awards competition premiered last year as the first year dedicated exclusively to wedding photography. Entries were open to wedding photographers who presented their work capturing moments from real weddings. The event offered a platform to showcase talent, creativity and the ability to capture the story of a wedding day. Five categories focused on different aspects of wedding photography - from fashion portraits of brides to reports full of emotion to creative portrayals of wedding decorations or the atmosphere of the venue.
A total of 447 images were submitted to the competition.
WHEN AND WHERE WAS THE CELEBRATION?
The winners were announced at the MILE Big Night gala held on 22 November 2024 at the luxurious Almanac X Alcron Hotel. The evening was a celebration not only of the winners, but also of all those who chose to share their view of the world through the lens.
The finalists received their prizes, which included designer glassware from Klimchi, and the grand prize winner received an experiential stay at PERK Hotel. The whole evening was accompanied by music, laughter and inspiring stories.
